Book Design

Its been a few weeks since ive blogged. I just finished up classes for the semester yesterday yay!! But it was some really fun classes that I took Anthropology (study of cultural behavior and life). Also took perspective Drawing. Which I kicked ass in I never really noticed how well i can balance things out. Kinda crazy ill post the boat I did later if you haven't seen it. But the best part was I got to show off my work to everyone. My teacher liked my portfolio so much she let me design her newest book cover as you can see above. I felt really honored to be able to be chosen like that out of the class. So so far id have to say I love art school. Its amazing how much one thing can be so rewarding. I got told by a lot of people I was wasting my money by going here. That I could get better real life learning at another school. Well sometimes I dont think school is all about that. I think the Art Institute has helped me think more logically and show more of my passion of design. Next semester ill be taking Intro to Photography and Web scripting wish me luck.

Crazy Life

Can you say busy? I feel like I have a 100 things to do. My business is picking up. I ordered some banners to make vinyl on for a client. So i guess ill be broke till i can finish those up. But its ok im really happy to have this client at least they get back to me and meet with me in a timely manner. I have a few that say they need to meet but they never have time I guess. As far as school I can a ton of things to do. But I get to show off my work next time in class. I think showing my work can give people a better Idea of who I am. I am usually known as the shy kid in class. I hate meeting new friends. Id rather have my select few and id be just fine. On the brighter side I learned some really cool things in fixing photos up in PS. The professional secrets so maybe I can help my self out a little.

Only two more classes

So im down to my last classes at this school. Its great im really excited. I am finding out school is fun but I'm also broke and owe so much its ridiculous. But I guess to every good thing there is a downfall. I am still wanting to go to the arts institute really bad if I can find the money.
I am also becoming really thankful for my job. It just kinda hit me this is probably the coolest job as far as flexible I can get. I need to just stick with the boring moments of it as long as I can. It is really hard to get my hours in sometimes. I guess I get that lil bit of lack of responsibility from my mom. Seeing how she lost her license on the day she needed to fly. But then we only have our moments cause sometimes she is the most responsible person I know. So maybe we are just blonde.
On the good news of things my site is well on its way to being open. I just need to open a business bank account look up some laws then it will be ready for business. Im working as fast as I can on it adesign4all.com. This is probably the third design Ive gone through but im really thinking this is the best and easiest way to be able to update it. Well if you take a look tell me what you think I only have like one page up. This weekend I hope to have the whole site up. Cross your fingers for that one.
